The Alano Club is not affiliated with any Twelve Step Program. It is a separate non-profit organization whose pupose is to provide a stable meeting place for 12 Step Groups, operate a Recovery Book Store and a coffee shop as a safe place for people in recovery. Rent from meetings is only a small part of the money necessary to keep the club open and operating.
As a dues paying member you can ensure that the club remains open and thrives. $10.00 a month is only two packs of ciggarettes, a couple of coffee mochas, and a damn sight less than you spent in one hour drinking and using. If you value your sobriety and want others to have what you have, dues are a small contribution to keep paying it forward
